Love Conquers All

Jenna hurried into the house eager to tell Colin about her day.  Colin was the love of her life and he was always happy to hear about her day.

Jenna tossed her books on to the desk and went looking for her husband of six months.  She heard voices coming from the den and headed in that direction.

She went to enter the room when she saw a woman in the room with her husband.  She stopped not wanting to interrupt  their conversation.  She started to back away when the woman threw herself into Colin’s arms.

Jenna gasped in shock.  She watched in horror as the woman proceeded to kiss Colin.  She cried out involuntarily.  She turned and ran to the front door grabbing up her purse as she went.  She ran out the door and to her car.

Starting up the car, Jenna glanced up and saw Colin running towards her.  She threw the car into gear and stepped on the accelerator.

Colin stared after his wife in frustration.  He didn’t understand her sometimes.  How could she become upset at him hugging and kissing his sister.  Then it hit him: she had never met his youngest sister.  She didn’t even know who she was.  No wonder she got so upset.

He thought for a moment and figured out where she went.  She would go to her brother’s house.  Colin went back into the house.

“Beth?  I need to go after Jenna.  I’ll back, hopefully, in a few minutes.  Will you be all right?”

“Of course, Colin.  Go after Jenna.  That’s more important right now.”  Beth reached up and hugged her brother.

Jenna walked up to her brother’s brightly lit home and knocked on the front door.

“Jenna?  What are you doing here, honey?”  Scott asked letting her inside.  He saw that she had been crying and led her over to the sofa.  “All right, Jen, what’s going on?”

“I caught Colin hugging and kissing another woman.”  Jenna sobbed.  Scott pulled her into his arms and held her close.

“It’ll be all right, honey.  Why don’t you go up to your room and freshen up a bit.  Lay down for a while, I’ll have Samantha come up and check on you in a bit.”  Jenna did as her brother bid her.

“Is Jenna all right, dear?”  Samantha asked coming into the living room where her husband still sat on the sofa.

“She’ll be fine.  She says she caught Colin kissing another woman.  He didn’t seem to be that kind of a man to me.  I am usually a good judge of character.”  At that moment, the doorbell rang.  “If that’s Colin, have him come in here so we can find out what is going on.”

“All right, love.”  Samantha smiled adoringly at her handsome husband.  She hurried to the front door and opened it.  “Hello, Colin.  Come on in to the living room.”   She ushered him in, then quietly left the two men alone.

“Hey, Colin, what’s up, dude?  My sister says she caught you hugging and kissing another woman.”

“It’s not what she thinks.”  Colin sighed.  “That other woman is my youngest sister.  Jenna never met her and Beth wanted to meet her because they are about the same age and they are very much alike.”

“I was hoping there was a simple explanation, Colin.  I sure didn’t want to have to beat you up or something.”  Scott laughed with relief.  “I’ll take you up to her and maybe we can get things straightened out.”

“Thanks, Scott, I really appreciate this.”

“No problem.”  Scott answered clapping Colin’s broad shoulder.

At Jenna’s door, Scott knocked gently.  “Jenna, Colin is here to see you.”

“I don’t want to see him right now!”

“Jenna Renee Douglas, you open this door and let your husband in now.  You are acting like a child and I won’t have it.”  Scott stated firmly.

“Come in then.”  Jenna said quietly.

Colin entered his wife’s former room and closed the door behind him.

“Why are you here, Colin?”

“I’m here to take you home.”

“What if I don’t go?”  She answered stubbornly.

“Maybe I will just take you over my knee and spank you.”  Jenna looked up at her husband with a startled look on her face.

“You wouldn’t dare!”  She breathed with an uncertain look on her pretty face.

“Try me, Jenna.”

“Who was she, Colin?”

“She is my sister Beth.  You remember my talking about her, don’t you?”  Colin answered.

“Beth?  Honest?”  Jenna asked looking up at her husband.

“I would never lie to you, Jenna.  I love you with my whole heart.”  He answered placing his hands on her shoulders.

“Oh, Colin!  I am so sorry!  I am such a fool!”  She exclaimed covering her face with her hands.

Colin pulled her into his arms and held her close.  Gently, he lifted her face to his and kissed her lovingly.  His kisses deepened into deeper and more passionate kisses.

Jenna responded in kind.  Her slender hands roamed his strong, lean body.  “Make love to me, Colin.”  She whispered breathlessly.

Colin moaned and pushed her down on to the king-sized bed.  He came over her and proceeded to love her.

Hours later, they lay exhausted in each other’s arms.

“We should be getting home, Jenna.  Beth is waiting for us.”  Colin murmured kissing her hair.

“Do we have to?”  Jenna sighed snuggling close to her husband’s warm body.

“Yes, we do.”  Colin paused.  “I guess what they say is true.....”

“What’s that, sweetheart?”  Jenna murmured.

“Love conquers all.”

“I guess it is true.  Love me again, Colin.”  Jenna said moving against him seductively.

“Always, my love, always.”  He answered lowering his mouth to hers in hard, passionate and possessive kisses.
